Clifton Carnival

Clifton Carnival is synonymous with Starfire and William Poulton. William Poulton was a horticulturist who is remembered for his pioneering work in the hybridisation of bougainvilleas and worked with Dr Killie Campbell in Durban, Africa. Clifton Carnival is a moderate grower with slightly wavy leaves and large rosy magenta bracts. New buds are a darker pink.
