Carissa grandiflora Desert Star (syn. Carissa macrocarpa 'Desert Star'), commonly known just as Desert Star, is a small, compact shrub with rounded, glossy, green leaves. The shrub is regularly adorned with attractive white star-shaped flowers. A drought tolerant and extremely hardy plant, needing little to no maintenance.
